The customer is an oncology-focused health informatics solutions company with a mission to help patients get access to the best treatments by leveraging clinical and molecular data to accelerate the discovery, development, and delivery of tailored and more personalized therapies. Their approach is to transform cancer care through the application of genome analysis of patient-derived tumor specimens and translating novel molecular findings combined with clinical insights for the actualization of precision oncology therapeutics and diagnostics.
About the Project
The customer is transforming its existing business through strategic technical initiatives that will enable it to fully leverage cloud services and ensure system scalability and stability, while freeing up key teams to focus on new development that will deliver new revenue.
The goal will be the integration with third-party systems and building API's.
Responsibilities
Deal with scale, security, reliability aspects of data platform
Analyze potential data sources
Design and implement data pipelines
Collaborate closely with machine learning, product development teams to meet their needs with data platform
Participate in bi-weekly data/machine learning papers review meetings
Provide a professional skills development plan
Requirements
6+ years experience as Python Developer
Experience in web-based development, experience using Azure cloud solutions related with data analytics or visualization
Solid understanding of object-oriented and functional methodologies
Experience building REST services
Experience with modern software development concepts, including operations-first delivery via DevOps/GitOps, automated testing/CI/CD pipelines, and IAC (Azure is preferable)
Experience building data pipelines with distributed large scale data processing engines
Strong communication and prioritization skills with English Level minimum B2
