About the Project
Your Impact:
As a Senior Database Administrator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the backbone of the mobility platform. You will have the opportunity to build high availability database systems tailored to the unique needs of each end user. By designing and implementing databases that align with end users' information requirements and perspectives, you will contribute to the seamless flow of data and ensure that the platform operates at peak performance.
Responsibilities
● Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s
specialized role
● Design and implement a database in accordance to end user's information needs and
● Define users and enable data distribution to the right user in the appropriate format and in
a timely manner
● Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
● Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
● Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
● Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards
● Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity
● Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions
when required
Requirements
Experience as a database administrator (3+ years), involving practical experience with MySQL and Postgre
Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL
Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding
Previous experience with DBA case tools and third-party tools
Problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
English level:
Intermediate+
