The Customer is a leading provider of next generation manufacturing and supply chain management solutions and serves global manufacturing companies in six verticals: automotive supply, life sciences, consumer products, food and beverage, high tech and industrial products. Cloud-based ERP solutions help manufacturers stay efficient and withstand disruption.
About the Project
Main objective of the project is shaping up an approach and plan to migrate present architecture to the one that could retain existing feature set, but also employ some modern concepts (e.g. cloud services, microservices etc) in order to achieve better modularity, scalability and other relevant industry-common benefits of such architecture. The modernization would be happening alongside codebase migration from Progress-based solutions to Java-based ones.
Current Project Stage:
Pending a start of the implementation phase.
Project Duration:
Planned approximate duration: 2-4 weeks for Discovery, 3-3.5 months for design & planning, 1-3 years (will be figured out during planning) on implementation.
Responsibilities
Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, consider areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions
Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
Document and communicate the results of your efforts
Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements
3+ years experience in business analysis or a related field
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
Advanced technical skills
Excellent documentation skills
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Experience leading and developing top-performing teams
Understanding of complex requirements at all development stages: elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management
Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
English level:
