Responsibilities
Collaborate with product and development teams to analyze and understand application requirements, identifying potential gaps in them
Identify, research, and document bugs; suggest possible resolutions and root causes
Contribute to process improvement efforts related to all aspects of software quality assurance in an effort to reduce defects and quality issues
Evaluate test results against expected results, implement improvements to processes, and recommend alternative testing as needed
Requirements
3+ years of experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
Experience working with Java
Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills
Ability to dive deep to find the root causes of issues and propose solutions
Exemplary written communication skills
Previous experience as a test automation engineer and deep knowledge in:
Testing: TestNG, Junit
Development: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JMS, JSON, Oracle
Monitoring: Grafana, influxDB, Splunk
Experience with Git, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Continuous delivery
Familiarity with the best development practices, Agile and lean values
English level:
